frequently asked questions
do you do custom orders?
I do! For custom embroidery art, please get in touch using the contact form or email email@example.com.
For custom clothing, please check out what is already available to be customised in my shop. If you have something in particular in mind, please get in touch.
do you embroider new clothes?
The short answer is no. I want to focus on upcycling pre-loved clothing because there is an enormous surplus of fast fashion in the world and I want to contribute to reducing that.
At some point in the future, if I can source sustainable, organic, carbon neutral clothing which is transparent about where the clothes are made and I can ensure that those garment workers are paid a living wage, then I would consider it. But for now, I will focus on secondhand.
do you have plans to expand your range?
Yes! I want to be as inclusive as possible, particularly in regard to sizing, and therefore want to expand the range of sizes available. I will also continue to add more embroidered products and ready-made pieces to my shop. Please sign up to my newsletter if you want to stay informed.
how are you a sustainable business?
I am trying to keep my business as environmentally conscious as possible, but will continue to improve. I aim to order all of my materials from UK sellers. I use fabric offcuts to back hoops and create other products, to reduce the amount of waste I produce. My packaging is all recycled and/or recyclable and contains no single-use plastic. My art prints are printed on recycled paper. I have chosen to embroider secondhand clothing only, to ensure that the life-cycle of clothes is extended and to try and reduce the impact of fast fashion.
